Addiction recovery
Addiction is rarely just about substances or behaviours. Whether it involves alcohol, drugs, gambling, food, or technology, these patterns often arise as ways to cope with pain, stress, or overwhelming emotions. A safe, non-judgemental space can help uncover the underlying issues driving addictive behaviours and support the development of healthier ways to manage life’s challenges.

Trauma and PTSD
Trauma impacts more than just memories — it affects your emotions, body, and sense of safety. In a compassionate, supportive space, we work together to gently explore these experiences, helping you process difficult feelings and reduce symptoms like flashbacks, anxiety, or numbness. The goal is to restore your sense of safety, build resilience, and support healing at your own pace.

Anxiety and Emotional Regulation
Anxiety and intense emotions can make everyday life feel unpredictable and overwhelming. In a safe, understanding space, we explore the root causes of your anxiety and emotional challenges. Together, we develop practical coping strategies that help you manage stress, soothe intense feelings, and regain a sense of calm and control.

Life transitions & holistic wellbeing
Life changes — whether related to gender identity, sexuality, grief, or major transitions — can bring uncertainty, stress, and growth all at once. Whether you’re exploring your gender or sexuality, navigating loss, or adjusting to new chapters, I provide a respectful, inclusive space to process your feelings, build resilience, and nurture your health in body and mind. Together, we create a path forward that honours who you are and where you want to go.

Managing chronic health conditions
Managing chronic illness can feel exhausting and isolating, especially when the source isn’t clear or fully treatable. In therapy, we explore how physical discomfort interacts with stress and emotional wellbeing, developing holistic strategies that address both mind and body. This can include relaxation techniques, pacing, and reframing thoughts about pain to improve your quality of life.
Though pain may persist, your experience of it can change — and healing is possible.

Seka brings creativity and depth to everything she does. From workshops to holding dance sessions that are fun, safe, and exploratory, she creates environments where people feel free to be themselves. In counselling, she offers empathy and perceptiveness that make it easy to open up and be heard. Her passion and warmth are evident in every setting, and I always come away feeling enriched by the experience. Seka has a gift for creating safe, engaging spaces where people can connect more deeply with themselves and others.
